"We go here often. Photos from 1/21/26. 6:15 p.m. Take-out Food: Our food is always delicious. Our orders are always correct, and the food is still hot by the time we get home. They’re quite consistent as well, making sure the wings are done the same way almost every single time. Every now and then, the fries are a little different, but nothing to complain about in my opinion. We tend to opt for the boneless wings, and they’re typically really juicy. Also, the cheese fries are absolutely delicious! Their ranch is by far the best out there as well. Service: Our order is almost always ready quickly; sometimes by the time we arrive even, and we only live about ten minutes away. We order online, and they have gotten it right every time. The staff tends to be a little…cold? For lack of a better term. They aren’t mean, but you’re also not greeted with a smile when you walk in. Atmosphere: It’s a pretty typical sports-centered restaurant. Not too many decorations or intimate seating styles. They do keep it clean, which is a huge plus. The overall noise level varies, but it never seems to be obnoxiously loud."

"First time ever visiting a wingstop and this location in Ames did not disappoint! Husband and I got the 15 bone in combo for two. He got the Korean BBQ and I got the Louisiana rub. For our side, we got a large voodoo fries. Also added the Cajun fried corn. The wings were very meaty and FAR from dry but definitely cooked completely! The staff was very helpful and kind. Much better than the wing place down the street!!! Will absolutely return here!!"

"Just had an awesome experience at Wingstop! The food was hot, fresh, and exactly what you want when you’re craving wings. Big shout-out to Seth for the great service—super friendly, quick, and made sure everything in our order was perfect. It’s workers like him that make the place stand out. Definitely a 5-star visit. We’ll be back!"

"Seth made my whole night Honestly wasn’t even planning to leave a review but Seth deserves the recognition. Dude was just genuinely cool, no rush, no attitude, just good vibes and good wings. Helped me figure out my order without making it weird and had everything out fast and fresh. Lemon pepper was hitting. Fries were crispy. Seth was solid. If you come to this Wingstop, hope you get Seth. That’s really all I gotta say"
