"Late‑night chicken cravings hit hard around 10pm, so I wandered over to Wingstop on Pennsylvania — just a block from where I was staying. I’ll be honest, I checked the reviews beforehand and… yikes 😬. Expectations were somewhere between “meh” and “please don’t disappoint me.” But I went for it anyway and ordered through the app. And surprise: it was great. I grabbed my boneless chicken strips with sweet chili sauce and fries, headed back to my room, opened the bag, and boom — the chicken was still piping hot. Not warm. Not “kind of okay.” We’re talking fresh‑out‑the‑kitchen hot 🔥. Crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and absolutely delicious. The fries were seasoned perfectly — Wingstop never misses with those. The restaurant was clean, the staff were kind, and the whole pickup process was smooth. My experience was completely different from many of the reviews I read. "I'd leave a zero-star review if I could. Placed a $55 order through the app to have it delivered. This is apparently a process that is outsourced to DoorDash. Get an alert that says our food has been delivered, but guess what? It isn't anywhere to be seen. So we call the store itself, hang on hold for 10 minutes, just to get hung up on. Eight calls later, finally get ahold of someone in the store, ask for a manager, and we are refused and told that our order has been *stolen* and to contact DoorDash customer service. That there is nothing they can do. Fun fact: DoorDash customer service isn't a thing! The corporate offices will be hearing about the atrocious customer service we received today. Save your money and order from Dave's or Popeyes. Lost a customer for life, and will be advising anyone who will listen to avoid this brand and shop. Absolutely ridiculous."

"If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. I ordered from this wingstop on the website for delivery. They use DoorDash as their preferred service. Fine. But then my dasher did not show up with my order. And when I texted and called the dasher there was no response. So I called the store where I was immediately put on hold for ten minutes. So I called back to back eight times before someone finally got tired of the phone ringing and picked up. I was then told that it seems like my dasher stole my food and I needed to contact DoorDash for a refund because they could not issue it from the store?? I DID NOT ORDER WITH DOORDASH. They will not be able to refund me anything because I didn’t place the order with them. The responsibility for those orders falls on the store themselves. As I read the rest of these reviews I see that this is not a “one time” situation. Someone from corporate desperately needs to step in and retrain on customer service. Google rating is in the trash along with the customer service and retention. There are too many BETTER places to eat downtown for you to treat your customer base so poorly."

"*LONG POST* I’m from out of town I spent $46 on foods the wings were disgusting and the fries weren’t cooked and it hurt my teeth to bite into them. Even after I hit the *cook extra time* I ordered them around 5:40p that day. When I got back to the hotel I opened them and my wings were dry and bland. My kids just ate over them while the complained that they were gross. I just decided I didn’t want to go through the hassle of getting more food made or a refund. But later on that night my kids started complaining about being hungry.. and here sits the wings in our face but not edible. I went up there as nice as I can be and told them what happened. I didn’t even want a refund, but for them to simply make a fresh batch. The refused so they went on and refunded me my money. He said it would take 24hrs. Next day I called and they said 7-10 business day. Okay cool. A week goes by and I still haven’t received anything. I called them back just for them to collect my name and number and order number once again🙄 not to mention I gave them those wings back. 20 freaking wings out of 30. I’m not the type to complain. But this is the absolute worst experience I have ever had. I didn’t even want my money back. They could’ve just made me a fresh batch of wings. SIMPLE"

"Everything was asked to be extra cooked (well done) and was not. The fries are undercooked and the wings that had sauce on them were the mango habanero. No sauce on the mild wings or garlic parmesan wings."
